Well, the crew team is heading off today (at 8 am) for Chattanooga, TN for the Head of the Hooch regatta! long bus ride, we'll probably be there around 4. apparently. anyway, i'll miss you guys! (for the....two days we're gone...)

finished my Hamlet "Polished Draft" last night, a bit of a rush job, but everything was done.

now i gotta go, mom's calling. see you guys monday! or sunday. bum bum BUM.

how come, every time we have a Pirate Tournament at the gym, we have a regatta too? bah!

anyway, Head of the Tennessee this weekend. i do believe this is the one we did only freshman year, with JD. and that really bad four i was in. *shudder* but, the bus ride should be interesting atleast.

i'm probably going to be making new images for this blog while we're going on up because as much as i like Vivi, i'm getting bored.

any suggestions? i have a few ideas that i can do real fast.

and i have come to a conclusion:

everyone must try fencing atleast once in their lives. it's a wonderful sport really, works your legs and arms while encouraging strategic thinking at the same time.

Wes makes fun of me because i'm on crew, because there's practically no individual thinking in crew. but that's ok, because of Crew, i'm one of the more fit people in the fencing club. ha.

me: as soon as crew ends, I'm coming to those kickboxing practices.
Wes: you -do- look like you need to hit something.
me: you dont know the half of it.

anyway. guess what guys? its that time of year again, Ramadan and Rosh Hashana! (ramadan started yesterday i do believe, and Rosh Hashana started the 3rd) so, please, if you know of anyone who is celebrating Ramadan, dont taunt them with food during the day. they'll most likely harm you. and Yom Kippur is starting next week as well.

Regatta was nice, the weather was perfect. all is well.

Katherine and I just saw a movie last night (mainly because we were bored and antsy) and it was possibly the cutest thing i have ever seen.

Must Love Dogs is a chick flick up in rank with The Wedding Date.

yes. Sonja likes chick flicks. ...decent ones. now i will admit, there are just some plain awful ones out there. often times, most of them are just horrible. but this one had two of my favorite things.

Rowing.

who would've thought that someone made the perfect chick flick just for me and Katherine? i mean, who would've thought. Dogs...and Rowing. it was a much needed escape and i highly reccomend it to anyone interested in seeing the movie.

Now, to get to see the Constant Gardner. and then i get to indulge my inner child by reverting back to 7 years old and getting to go see The Corpse Bride when it comes out. i'm a Tim Burton girl all the way. You all should be too.
