i am now beginning to see why clarinets are no longer a major jazz instrument, or an important one at that.

but, when you list instruments in a jazz band, what are they?

tenor
alto
baritone
trombone
percussion
trumpet
piano
bass

...no clarinet.

in the jazz band i'm in, i love the music. the director is the best ever. and the band is just incredibly good.

....but i'm treated as a secretary. a person to run music to the copying machine. an assistant to hand out music to the trumpets because they're so far in the back.

bite me, walk your sorry ass up to the front to get your own damn music.

even the director forgets to give me music. its as if i dont even exist.

what did i ever do to just be ignored? i work so hard....and i get nothing. not even a feeling of being part of the band.

i dont belong there.
